
eMarketing: The act of promoting goods, products and services through digital channels, most notably the internet.
eMarketing separates itself from traditional methods by its key feature, the ability to interact with the consumer on a whole new level. eMarketing is about communicating with the consumer with blogs, consumer reviews, and interactive advertising, not placing blind ads in print. eMarketing yields precious data. Page counts, click paths, search engine rankings; all allow better customer targeting.
